Company Background

The intelligent National Productivity and Quality Specification (iNPQS) is a joint project driven by three industry associations, namely, Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA), Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) and Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES), to develop a national specification for Architectural, Civil & Structural and Mechanical & Electrical works. 

iNPQS aims to harmonise the industry building specifications and provide a standard platform for achieving greater efficiency and quality in the design, procurement and construction processes.

This massive effort involves not only software applications but more crucially to review of specifications of the respective disciplines to ensure that they are correct, adequate and comprehensive.

Technical Admin Executive – IT

 

Job Description

An IT Support is in charge of supporting iNPQS SAAS technologies, including network and systems of all types, providing technical support and ensuring the whole iNPQS system runs smoothly.

IT Support monitors and maintains the platform systems, installs and configures hardware and software, and solves technical problems, including handing users’ feedbacks.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Installing and configuring office computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanner troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults

  • Monitoring and maintaining iNPQS platform systems and database.
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
  • Setting up accounts for new users
  • Assist the Technical Managers in uploading specification content into iNPQS platform support the roll-out of new applications
  • Testing and evaluate new technology

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree of in Computer Science/Information Technology
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in the IT industry
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and everchanging environment
  • Experienced in IT support of computer hardware, software, and OS (Windows and macOS)

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday – 9.00 am to 6.00 pm

Technical Admin Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as documenting and compiling technical specifications
  • Maintaining information files and processing paperwork
  • Provide admin & technical support to management
  • Attending & taking minutes of meeting
  • Assisting management in preparing presentations
  • To test the integration of BIM drawings to specification
  • To provide for technical support for the IT platform

Requirements:

  • Fresh graduates or experienced candidates with degree in Engineering or Architecture with interest in BIM drawings and specifications may apply
  • Knowledge of Singapore’s building regulations and construction methods
  • Familiar with technical specifications and detailing
  • Competence in using CAD packages to include Revit & SketchUp Pro and ArchiCAD is an advantage
  • Possess good written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Team player and able to multi-task
  • PC literacy required (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
  • Able to start work immediately

  • Monday to Friday – 9.00 am to 6.00 pm
